This notice explains what personal information I collect, how I use it, and the rights you have over it. If anything here isn't clear, please and I'll be glad to help.
Who I am
Wild & Still is a nature-based wellness practice based in Kent. I'm the "data controller" for your information, which means I'm responsible for how it's used. You can with me any time through the contact form on this site.
What I collect
When you book or enquire about a session, or ask to receive updates, I collect your name, your email address, and anything you choose to write in your message. That's all. Sessions are currently free, so I don't collect any payment details, and this website doesn't use tracking or advertising cookies.
How I use it, and why
- To answer you and manage your booking — so I can reply to your enquiry, confirm your place, and share the practical details for the session you've asked about. This is necessary to take the steps you've requested.
- To send you occasional updates — news about upcoming sessions, events and journal posts — but only if you've ticked to opt in. This is based on your consent, and you can change your mind at any time.
Updates, and how to unsubscribe
I'll only email you updates if you've asked me to. Every update includes a simple way to unsubscribe, and you can also email me any time to be taken off the list — I'll remove you promptly.
Where it's stored, and who helps me
I keep your details securely and only share them with the trusted services I use to run Wild & Still:
- Cloudflare — hosts this website and handles the booking form.
- Resend — delivers booking and enquiry emails to my inbox.
- Google — where I securely store enquiry and mailing-list details (Google Drive).
- [Email newsletter platform] — used to send updates. I'll name it here once I've chosen one.
Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the US. Where that's the case, they're covered by appropriate safeguards for protecting your information. I never sell your details, and I never share them for anyone else's marketing.
How long I keep it
I keep booking and enquiry details while we're in touch about your session and for a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them. If you've joined my mailing list, I keep your details until you unsubscribe, after which I remove them.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you can ask me to:
- show you the information I hold about you;
- correct anything that's wrong;
- delete it;
- restrict or object to how I use it;
- or give you a copy to reuse elsewhere.
You can also withdraw your consent to marketing at any time. To do any of these, just and I'll respond within one month.
Complaints
I hope you'll always feel able to come to me first. But you also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
